Annika had a sonogram today and I'm really glad I went too. It was amazing to see the baby's heart beating and recognize him as a little person. It was also good to know the gender. Although I didn't really care if it was a boy or a girl, now we know the gender and can start thinking of names!The sonographer (they're actually called sonogram technicians, but I like sonographer much better) also recorded a short movie on a DVD of the baby moving around. The movie didn't capture the really good stuff we saw during the exam though: he got the hiccups, played with his umbilical cord, and yawned. It was an amazing experience.
It was amazing seeing him. Imagine how much bigger he is now!
